Questions
How much do motorized shades cost?
The cost depends on the number and size of the windows, the fabric, how the shades are powered and how they are controlled. After a walkthrough, we give you a quote room by room, so you can start where it matters most.
Can motorized shades be added to an existing home?
Yes. Battery-powered shades and wireless keypads let us add motorized shades to a finished home without opening walls. We first confirm there is solid backing for the brackets at each window.
Are motorized shades noisy?
Good motorized shades are quiet. Lutron rates its Palladiom shade drive at 35 dBA measured three feet from the motor, well below the level of normal conversation.
Do motorized shades work with my smart home system?
Lutron shades run on Lutron HomeWorks and integrate with Savant and Control4, so they join the same scenes and schedules as your lights.
