Questions
Can I use a regular TV outside?
We don't recommend it. An indoor TV isn't sealed against moisture or made for heat and cold, and its screen is hard to see in daylight. An outdoor model rated for full shade, partial sun or full sun is the better choice.
Where should an outdoor TV go?
We recommend a covered spot out of direct sun, such as a porch, pergola or outdoor kitchen. It gives the best picture and protects the screen. Where the TV has to sit in direct sun, a full-sun model is the right choice.
Will outdoor speakers bother the neighbors?
A well-designed system spreads several smaller speakers around the space at a moderate volume, so less of the music carries next door. We place and aim each one with the property lines in mind.
How do you protect outdoor equipment near the water?
We use marine-grade fixtures and speakers, sealed connectors and outdoor-rated amplifiers, and we recommend a maintenance visit each spring to clean and test everything.
